George and Linda Szendrey

Many years of experience in management, sales and service has lead George and Linda Szendrey [send-ree] to a career in real estate. In 1983, they founded, owned and operated their own manufacturer’s representative business and represented various original equipment manufacturers across the United States and in Europe. It was their goal to expand their service of representation from the manufacturing industry to the real estate market.

George and Linda met in 1974, while working for a manufacturer’s rep in Santa Ana. George was a sales engineer, and Linda was responsible for billing, expediting and purchasing. With a B.S.E.E. and M.B.A. in marketing, George developed his business knowledge in industrial sales, representing both buying and selling manufacturers in negotiating and closing contracts. Thus, George puts his mathematical and negotiating skills to work for you, while Linda applies her knowledge and skills to the attention of details, follow-up, communications and contract requirements.

Married in 1989, George and Linda continued to make service and sales a part of their lives... serving others as needed whether family, friend or business associate. In their desire to give their two younger boys a lifestyle to live, they purchased a  vacation home in Tahoe. They loved Tahoe so much, they moved up here from Los Angeles and never looked backed. I guess you might say it was their love for Tahoe that turned their hearts from industrial to real estate sales.

So in 2004, George and Linda started new careers in real estate sales and representation. In their first 6 months, they earned the “Rookie of the Year” award as “Sales Leaders of Agents Licensed Less than Two Years,” and the “Most Valuable Player” award “For Outstanding Performance.”  Today, as our economy and real estate market begins to make a comeback, George and Linda continue to represent buyers and sellers throughout Lake Tahoe.  With almost 20 years of combined California and Nevada real estate experience under their belt, they never take any one or any opportunity for grant it.

As a team working 24/7 side-by-side, George and Linda bring a unique style of commitment to the real estate table. Their specialty is a combination of serving their clients and making sure that every transaction is personal, as stress-free as possible, and with the best outcome their control allows. They offer their clients a variety of skills, services and sales knowledge.  And, although they are one, they work as two – offering individual insights and opinions to their clients to help them make better real estate decisions whether buying or selling – purposely building relationships of trust.  Real estate representation is a commitment that requires more than putting a “for sale” sign up or showing houses -- it takes loyalty, committment and availability.
